We are an independent contractor and are happy to explain when a simple weatherization product is enough and when a repair or replacement is a better choice. We check the sash fit, the weatherstripping, the caulk and the frame, and then choose the repair that actually stops the draft. Some jobs only need new weatherstripping, and we say so.
